TACLOBAN CITY — Health authorities here are urging residents to take extra precautions as extreme heat continues to grip the city, with cases of heat exhaustion already being reported in local health facilities. City Health Officer Dr. Jaime Opinion said the city has begun monitoring heat-related illnesses, particularly heat exhaustion cases, as temperatures remain at dangerous levels. “We have monitored cases of heat exhaustion in the city due to the extreme heat we have been experiencing.
