KEY FINDINGS • The national Minimum Expenditure Basket (MEB) without top-up increased by 5% compared to February 2026, reaching 540,675 SDG. The highest observed values were recorded in South Kordofan (607,709 SDG), Northern (578,840 SDG), and Gedaref (566,241 SDG). The most expensive food components in the MEB were recorded in Abassiya, South Kordofan (362,467 SDG), Sheikan, North Kordofan (353,381 SDG), and Reifi Gharb Kassala, Kassala (310,770 SDG). • The national MEB household items without top-up increased by 1% since February 2026 (124,317 SDG), driven by gas refill (+19%).
