Haunted by death and frostbite fears, Kicok recounts gruelling Everest ascent
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian mountaineer Khafiz Bachok, better known as Kicok, has recounted the harrowing moments he endured while scaling Mount Everest, where fears of frostbite, death and running out of oxygen haunted him throughout the climb in temperatures plunging to minus 40 degrees Celsius.
