MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang Palace on Thursday issued Proclamation No. 1264 declaring May 27, 2026, a regular holiday nationwide in observance of Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice. “WHEREAS, following the 1447 Hijrah Islamic Lunar Calendar, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos has recommended that 27 May 2026, Wednesday, be declared a national holiday, in observance of Eid al-Adha,” the proclamation read.
