PNP denies discrimination in Misamis Oriental op arresting 69 Chinese

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) denied allegations of discrimination in a law enforcement operation in Misamis Oriental in which 69 Chinese individuals were arrested. The operation, jointly done by the PNP with the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the National Bureau of Investigation and other agencies, targeted a steel manufacturing facility in Tagoloan town last week.
