DOJ warns: Anyone shielding Bato dela Rosa will face legal action

Manila, Philippines — Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida on Thursday warned that anyone, including public and influential individuals, who will help or shield Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa will face legal consequences. The justice secretary’s statement came after announcing that the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) can already effect the arrest of dela Rosa pursuant to the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant.
