MCMC issues statutory demand to TikTok over offensive content

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has issued a statutory demand to TikTok over the platform’s failure to act promptly and adequately against offensive and defamatory content, as well as fake accounts targeting the royal institution.
