Illegal Jeli gold panning site shut before fatal landslide

KOTA BARU: The authorities had sealed off a stream near the Jerimbong oil palm plantation in Jeli yesterday, before two men were later buried in a landslide while allegedly carrying out illegal gold mining activities.
