Food delivery app Baemin releases English guide on Global Accessibility Awareness Day
Woowa Brothers, operator of Korea's leading food delivery app Baemin, has released an English-language version of its "Easy Baemin App Guide" to coincide with Global Accessibility Awareness Day. The guide, first published in 2021, was designed to help elderly users and people with developmental disabilities navigate the app through simple language and illustrations. The company has updated it annually on Global Accessibility Awareness Day. This year's English edition was developed alongside a multilingual feature update rolled out on the Baemin app in February. The release comes as foreign visitors to Korea have increased amid growing global interest in Korean culture. International payment orders on Baemin surged approximately 300 percent in December last year compared with the same period in 2024. Since its initial launch, the guide has been distributed to more than 870 welfare centers nationwide, with 1,850 copies delivered through April last year.
