MNL48 to disband after 8-year career

MNL48 — one of the pioneers of the current P-pop movement—has announced that they will disband after eight years of being together. MNL48’s agency, P.O.S Inc., announced in a statement on Wednesday, May 20, that the P-pop girl group will officially end their activities at the end of May 2026.
