The Enga Provincial Government, through the Division of Agriculture and Livestock, is distributing sweet potato vines and tree seedlings for replanting by villages affected by tribal fighting that are now starting the resettlement program after the successful implementation of the peace process initiated by the Police Minister Sir John Pundari. Provincial Food Crops Officer Mrs Davinah Lepatu Apupuni highlighted that her team started the distribution of sweet potato vines and tree seedlings at Kwimimanda village leading into Wapenamanda station and will continue to other villages along the main Highlands Highway that are now starting to build houses and make gardens under the resettlement program.
