Spokesperson for PNP chief Nartatez named

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) has designated an acting spokesperson for its chief, Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., according to the National Police Commission (Napolcom). Col. Marlon Santos, who was previously Cavite police chief and director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group units in Calabarzon and Central Visayas, was appointed to be Nartatez’ acting spokesperson, Napolcom said in a statement.
