Jonvic Remulla denies Aplasca claims of ‘spliced’ footage
MANILA, Philippines — Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Wednesday denied accusations made by suspended Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Ma. O. Aplasca, who said the CCTV footage of last week’s shooting incident at the Senate was “spliced.” Aplasca’s remarks came after Remulla, Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida, and Philippine National Police Chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. on Tuesday presented CCTV footage showing Aplasca firing shots at the vicinity of National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents.
