CEBU CITY, Philippines —  As Cebu is set to observe Eid al-Adha, one of the most significant Islamic celebrations, Muslim communities prepare for coordinated prayers and gatherings on that special day, with the holiday expected to fall on May 27. Preparations for the celebration of the Eid al-Adha, which is also known as the “Feast of Sacrifice, are being coordinated locally through the Cebu City Office for Muslim Affairs and Indigenous Cultural Communities (OMAICC), and the Provincial Government of Cebu Muslim Affairs consultant.
