Anne Hathaway’s ‘Ella Enchanted’ to be adapted into TV series

A television adaptation of the fantasy novel and film “Ella Enchanted” is in early development at Disney+, with Anne Hathaway attached as an executive producer.   The upcoming series is based on the novel “Ella Enchanted,” which previously inspired the 2004 movie starring Hathaway as Ella of Frell, a young woman cursed with obedience.
