‘Harry Potter’ series’ Ginny Weasley exits show ahead of season one premiere

The upcoming “Harry Potter” television series will recast the role of Ginny Weasley for its second season after young actress Gracie Cochrane exited the project due to “unforeseen circumstances.”  In a statement sent to international press, Cochrane’s family said the actress made the “challenging decision” to leave the series after season one. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Gracia has made the challenging decision to step away from her role as Ginny Weasley in the HBO Harry Potter series after season one,” the statement. “Her time as part of the ‘Harry Potter’ world has been truly wonderful, and she is deeply grateful […]...
