Pagasa tracks 3 possible LPAs, but storm risk remains low
MANILA, Philippines — Three possible low-pressure areas (LPAs) may develop over the Pacific Ocean during the last week of May, although the chances of these intensifying into tropical cyclones remain low, the state weather bureau said. According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), one of the three systems may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and move closer to Eastern Luzon between May 25 and 31.
