Country: Afghanistan Source: International Organization for Migration Please refer to the attached file. This report presents Flow Monitoring (FM) findings for January–March 2026, drawing on data collected at six monitored border crossing points with the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan. The analysis examines cross‑border mobility trends, population profiles, drivers of movement, socioeconomic characteristics, and intended destinations under conditions of heightened constraint and volatility. Where relevant, findings are contextualized using Border Consortium data to situate observed trends within broader return dynamics, protection risks, and implications for humanitarian response and recovery planning in Afghanistan. During the reporting period, DTM counted 636,245 individuals entering Afghanistan and 202,245 individuals leaving Afghanistan, as well as interviewing 35,040 individuals through the FMS. The report is structured into five thematic sections that focus on mobility trends, profiles, drivers, socioeconomic conditions, and mobility intentions.
