Sara Duterte impeachment: House prosecutors unfazed by political backlash

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Members of the House prosecution panel in the impeachment case against Vice President Sara Duterte said on Tuesday, May 19, that they are unfazed by possible political repercussions in the next elections as they move forward with the impeachment proceedings. During a press briefing, San Juan Rep. Ysabel Maria Zamora said the prosecution panel remains focused on carrying out its constitutional duty as House prosecutors and as representatives of their constituents. “Hindi po kami nababahala.
