NDA seeks P1.5-B for 2027 to build 3 more stock farms, boost dairy industry

MANILA, Philippines — The National Dairy Authority (NDA) is seeking a P1.5-billion budget for 2027 to build three more stock farms and sustain government interventions that are aimed at developing the local dairy industry. Although the proposed 2027 budget is lower than this year’s allocation of P2.38 billion, NDA Administrator Marcus Antonius Andaya said the agency was expecting additional funding support from a law aimed at boosting the competitiveness of the livestock sector.
