In Quarter 1 2026, IOM continued to implement CCCM and site development activities across Malakal PoC, Bulakat Transit Centre, and Bentiu IDP Camp, supporting approximately 160,000 people through improved living conditions, coordination, and accountable service delivery, with support from FCDO, ECHO, PRM, SSHF, and the Government of Canada. This quarter, 2,050 feedback entries were received, a relative 3% increase from the baseline. All feedback received related to requests for assistance, services, or repairs. Of these, 1,708 entries (83%) were referred to service providers, while 342 (17%) were closed upon receipt because they were unreferrable. The top reason for closing feedback without referral was lack of funds (73%). Due to limited resources and funding constraints, shelter material and NFI kit requests continue to be closed upon receipt, with an explanation that these items are allocated through targeted distributions rather than individual requests. All feedback this quarter was received through the Information Desk (94%) and Mobile Outreach (6%), with the share received through the Information Desk increasing by 4 percentage points from the baseline. The majority of feedback (95%) was submitted on behalf of households, while a smaller share represented the wider community (5%). Most feedback was submitted by women and girls (71%), while 29% was submitted by men and boys, reflecting a similar proportion to last quarter. Regardless of gender, age, or vulnerability status, the top topics were consistent across demographic groups: lost, stolen, or damaged biometric cards, and support with biometric registration.
