DEVELOPING STORY: Shots heard as authorities move to arrest Dela Rosa

MANILA, Philippines — Several shots were heard as authorities moved to arrest Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, who has been holed up in the Senate since Monday after the International Criminal Court made public its arrest order against him. It was not immediately clear who fired the shots or whether anyone was hurt. The ICC unsealed on May 11 an arrest warrant against Dela Rosa over alleged crimes against humanity linked to the Duterte administration’s drug war.
