Japan provides Britain with antiviral drug Avigan over hantavirus outbreak

TOKYO: Japan has supplied Britain with the antiviral drug Avigan in an effort to protect those in close contact with people infected with hantavirus, the country’s health ministry said Monday, Kyodo News reported.
