Palace: Marcos admin acts within law, won’t betray PH interests

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang on Wednesday maintained that the Marcos administration acts in accordance with the law and will not compromise the interests of the country, following remarks by Vice President Sara Duterte that the current administration allegedly does not understand what a country’s sovereignty means. This comes amid ongoing tensions in the Senate following a leadership change and the reappearance of Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, who is facing a warrant of arrest from the International Criminal Court (ICC).
