Pangilinan stands firm, rejects Padilla call for apology over clash

MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan did not budge when Sen. Robin Padilla pressed him to apologize in the plenary for raising his voice at him during Tuesday’s proceedings.  Taking the floor on Wednesday, Padilla asked Pangilinan if he could place his apology on record just like what Sen. Panfilo Lacson did to Sen. Pia Cayetano. He also wants the Senate to remove their exchange from the record where he claimed Pangilinan shouted at him.
