An estimated 60,000 people attended the rally on Saturday in central London, organised by convicted criminal and far-right activist Tommy Robinson , whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon. At the rally, speaking to a pro-Israel activist, Robinson was filmed saying  he "would stop Islam" if he was in charge of the country. He called for "remigration" and said he would have the military remove migrants from hotels housing them. Robinson, who has multiple convictions for offences such as violence, fraud and contempt of court, added that "it's time for many Muslims to leave this country." On stage Robinson told the crowd to prepare for the "battle of Britain".
