Lebanon: Amel Situation Report #2: Supporting all populations affected by the crisis- March & April 2026

Over this two-month period, Amel reached 101,581 people across 8 governorates , through 19 Primary Healthcare Centres, 14 Mobile Medical Units, and a multi-sectoral health, protection and education response across 187 sites, including 110 collective shelters . Key highlights include: 51,399 health services provided, including 30,982 primary healthcare consultations 20,329 people reached through protection activities (GBV, MHPSS, Child Protection) 19,780 children reached through education and recreational activities 11,957 individuals reached through relief item distributions 1,748 People With Specific Needs identified and prioritized The report also outlines the challenges ahead, including critical funding gaps, damaged facilities in Haret Hreik, Borj El Brajneh and Khiam , and the urgent need to scale up our response to reach more than 100,000 people per month.
