Loan shark runner jailed 11 and a half years for Molotov attack in Batu Pahat

BATU PAHAT: “Why did you burn the house? Who ordered you to do it?” the Sessions Court judge, Osman Affendi Mohd Shalleh, asked before sentencing a man to 6 years’ jail for acting as a runner for an illegal moneylender, or ‘loan shark’, in a case involving the firebombing of a senior citizen’s home last month.
