New price hikes for gas, diesel take effect May 19

MANILA, Philippines — Motorists will see pump prices become costlier by up to P2.82 per liter beginning Tuesday, May 19. In a media briefing, Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Sharon Garin said gasoline prices would increase by P1.21 per liter. Diesel’s price increase may reach up to P2.82 per liter.
