Impeachment court summons Sara Duterte to respond to complaints

MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte will be issued a writ of summons following a motion approved by the Senate as an impeachment court on Monday. The writ of summons orders Duterte to respond to the complaints made against her in the articles of impeachment. These complaints include alleged betrayal of public trust, graft and corruption, culpable violation of the Constitution and other high crimes.
