DOJ recommends plunder raps vs Estrada - Ombudsman

MANILA, Philippines — The Office of the Ombudsman on Monday said the Department of Justice recommended the filing of a plunder case against Sen. Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada in connection with the government flood control projects controversy. Assistant Ombudsman Mico Clavano said this was contained in the resolution of the DOJ’s National Prosecution Service. “The primary respondents named in the resolution of the DOJ include Senator Jose ‘Jinggoy’ Ejercito Estrada,” Clavano said in a press conference.
