10 Calabarzon areas face dangerous heat index Monday — Pagasa

LUCENA CITY — With the continuing intense heat, at least 10 localities in the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon) region are expected to experience dangerous heat index levels on Monday. In its 5 p.m. forecast issued Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sangley Point in Cavite City, Cavite, may record a heat index of 44°C.
