Latvian army plans broader restructuring

The commander of the National Armed Forces (NBS) has announced his intention to carry out a broader transformation of the army, including a review of its structure. Some changes could be incorporated into the existing NBS development plan by this fall, according to the LTV programme De Facto. A functional government would be essential for this.
