P94-million Our Lady of Peñafrancia museum rises in Naga

LIGAO CITY — The Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) has allocated P94.25 million for the construction of a new Museo de Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia inside the compound of the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Basilica Minore in Naga City. TIEZA Chief Operating Officer Mark Lapid, during a project inspection with Mayor Leni Robredo and Rev. Fr. Jene Lois Sarmiento, vice rector of the Basilica Minore and National Shrine, said on Saturday that P15.75 million has been allotted for Phase 1 of the project and an additional P78.5 million has been approved for Phase 2.
