Malaysia told to end death penalty for good

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia must move beyond its current moratorium on executions and fully abolish the death penalty, as existing reforms remain vulnerable to reversal, panellists said during a forum held alongside the launch of Amnesty International Malaysia’s Global Death Sentences and Executions 2025 report today.
