Selfie attempt triggers carnival ride mishap in Bohol town

TAGBILARAN CITY — Four teenagers were injured after they fell from a running carnival ride at a fair in Bilar, Bohol, on Sunday evening. The Bilar Police Station said the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. at the town carnival while the victims were riding an attraction called “SpongeBob.” Based on the initial investigation, the teenagers allegedly stood up and shifted positions to take selfies while the ride was spinning at high speed.
