MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero is said to be returning as Senate president, according to multiple sources, as talks of another leadership change loomed on Monday. Speaking on condition of anonymity, a senator disclosed that the number needed to replace Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano has already been reached. “They only said that the numbers have supposedly already been secured,” the senator said in Filipino.
