Skrunda celebrates 30 years as a city

Spring is the time when Skrunda, a settlement on the banks of the Venta River, celebrates its town festival. This year, it is especially important, as the revelers have been celebrating 30 years since Skrunda, despite its small size and population of fewer than 2,000 people, was officially added to the list of Latvian cities.
