ICC prosecutors seek Nov. 30 start for Duterte trial

MANILA, Philippines – The International Criminal Court’s (ICC) Office of the Prosecutor (OTP) has recommended that the trial of former President Rodrigo Duterte begin on November 30, 2026. “The Prosecution proposes that the trial be set to commence on Monday, 30 November 2026,” the OTP said in a document dated May 15.
