Makati prosecutor tags businessman's ex-wife's VAWC evidence as 'fake'

MANILA, Philippines – The Office of the City Prosecutor in Makati has indicted for falsification of public documents the estranged wife of Filipino-Indian businessman Rajiv Chandiramani. In a five-page resolution, the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office said it found prima facie evidence with reasonable certainty of conviction to charge the wife for falsification by a private individual under Article 172 in relation to Article 171 (1) and (2) of the Revised Penal Code.
