Karate One-Youth League: PH bets miss podium in Day 2

MANILA, Philippines–Eduardo Berco III delivered the best Filipino finish on Day 2 of the Karate One-Youth League despite coming up short of a podium spot in the junior male kumite -61kg division Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena. Berco dropped his opening bout to Ukraine’s Maksym Viechikanov, 1-7, but was pulled into the repechage after the Ukrainian reached the finals.
