Indonesian shares, rupiah tumble as MSCI removes six firms from index

JAKARTA: Indonesian equities sank to a one-year low, while the rupiah hit a record low on Wednesday, after index provider MSCI removed six local companies from the domestic global standard index following a quarterly review.
