Jerusalem, Kuse make weight for WBC title rematch in South Africa

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Reigning World Boxing Council (WBC) minimumweight champion Melvin “Gringo” Jerusalem and challenger Siyakholwa Kuse successfully made weight ahead of their highly anticipated world title rematch set for Saturday, May 16, in Johannesburg, South Africa. During the official weigh-in held on Friday, May 15, both fighters comfortably came in under the 105-pound limit for the minimumweight division. Jerusalem tipped the scales at 104.4 pounds, while Kuse weighed slightly heavier at 104.7 pounds.
