Philippine HMOs post 41% net income jump in Q1

MANILA, Philippines – Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) in the Philippines posted a double-digit surge in net income in the first quarter of 2026, on membership fees growing faster than benefit payouts. Latest preliminary data from the Insurance Commission (IC) showed that Philippine HMOs earned P818.7 million as of end-March, jumping 41 percent from P579.4 million in the same period last year.
