Malaysia posts strong 5.4pct Q1 2026 growth on strong domestic demand, export strength

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian economy expanded by a solid 5.4 per cent in the first quarter of 2026, driven mainly by domestic demand, according to Bank Negara Malaysia.
