Lack of rains, heat index lower Angat dam water level

CITY OF MALOLOS, BULACAN, Philippines — The water in Angat Dam had dipped below normal operating level due to extreme heat and the absence of rain. Angat Dam is Metro Manila’s chief source of water. On Thursday, Angat Dam’s water was at 178.87 meters above sea level (masl), more than one meter below the 180 masl operating level.
