IC grants 90-day relief for policyholders, insurers

MANILA, Philippines – The Insurance Commission (IC) has provided relief measures to ensure coverage and compliance for policyholder and insurance companies amid the state of national energy emergency. Under Circular Letter No. 2026-11, the IC directed insurance companies to adopt at least three relief measures for policyholders and one for sales associates and employees. The circular covers all insurance companies, mutual benefit associations, pre-need companies, health maintenance organizations, and their respective policyholders and members.
