Toledo stays on top of PCAP South with wins over Cavite, Iriga

CEBU CITY, Philippines — The Toledo Xignex Trojans strengthened their hold on the Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) All-Filipino Conference Southern Division lead after dominant wins over the Cavite Spartans and Arriba Iriga Oragons last Wednesday night, May 13, as the elimination round nears its conclusion. The twin victories pushed the defending champions, the Trojans, to 18 wins against just two losses, keeping them firmly on top of the standings.
