70pct of Mara Act amendments focus on governance reforms

KUALA LUMPUR: Some 70 per cent of the proposed amendments to the Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) Act 1966 will focus on strengthening corporate governance, including reducing the concentration of power held by the chairman and council members.
