Ford to recall nearly 420,000 US vehicles over seat-belt issue

KUALA LUMPUR: Ford Motor will recall 419,967 vehicles in the US as seat belts that do not retract or extend properly can fail to restrain an occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Wednesday.
